The BFA lens scores a point on children under 5 and household income within 5 miles, fitted to how full BFA’s own campuses are. Green means the model band is 75% or better, with a hard $100K family-income floor at 3 miles. The Market Explorer screens any address, ranks neighborhood territories 1–5 around a city, and lists the fleet.

Latest: rebuilt on the Market Explorer layout (Sept 30); scores unchanged. Lewis Center shown as open (July 2026, provisional license; capacity not yet on file). Fleet medians now cover 19 schools.

States: Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia

The LeafSpring lens scores a point on household income and degrees within 5 miles, home values within 3 miles and licensed seats within a mile, weighted by how each moved with results across the fleet. Children under 5 act as floors, not as score. The Market Explorer screens any address, ranks ZIP-based territories 1–5 around a city, and grades each school’s market.

Latest: rebuilt on the Market Explorer layout (Sept 30); scores unchanged. East Point (Louisville) and Pendleton shown as open; one signed school in Lexington added as coming soon; open dates filled for Norton Commons, Pendleton and Three Chopt.
Where the models see room

Green territory by metro, square miles

Each lens on the same ¾-mile grid. LeafSpring: cells in the viable band or better (fit ≥ −0.5). BFA: cells at or above the 75% model band with the $100K floor. Counted within 25 miles of the metro center (32 for Indianapolis). Area is a size-of-opportunity measure, not a ranking of sites: the tools grade specific territories.
